Authentication
WhatsApp is paired the same way as WhatsApp Web: by scanning a QR code with the WhatsApp app on your phone. There are no tokens to copy by hand.
- Add a WhatsApp node and click the pairing button.
- A QR code appears on the node.
- On your phone, open WhatsApp and go to Settings, then Linked devices, then Link a device, and scan the QR code shown on Rerouter.
- Once paired, the node connects automatically. Select a chat from the dropdown, or enter a phone number or JID to target a specific conversation.
The pairing is reused on later deployments, so you only need to scan once unless you unlink the device or it expires.
